Description

River Montessori High School is expanding its student body and looking for students who want to attend a school where they can pursue their passions. The Opportunity Scholarship is a chance for one student whose family might otherwise not be able to afford tuition to join us at RMHS for their 9th grade year.

Prizes

All entrants receive an application fee waiver ($75 value) for RMHS.

Grand Prize: Free tuition for the 2022 - 2023 school year.

How to Enter

STEP ONE: Applicants are to write and submit a 300 - 500 word essay entitled, “What makes me, me?” We aren’t looking for perfection in the student’s writing – we want to hear how they view themselves and what is important to them.

STEP TWO: After submitting the essay, an RMHS staff member will email the parent/guardian contact person a link to fill out the RMHS online application.

STEP THREE: Finalists will be selected on Friday, June 3rd with the winner announced on Wednesday, June 8th.

Eligibility Requirements

The Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) on my 2021 tax return is less than $60,000.

I am an Indiana resident.

My student is entering 9th grade for the 2022 - 2023 school year.

If selected as a finalist, my student and I will meet with the RMHS staff before June 8th for a family interview.

With support from RMHS, I will submit an application for an Indiana School Choice Voucher for the 2022 - 2023 school year if my student wins the Opportunity Scholarship.
